Viet Dzung just passed away at Fountain Valley, California on December 20, 2013 at the age of 55. He was born in Vietnam in 1958. His birth name was Nguyen, Hung Dung Ngoc. He came to US after the fall of Saigon when he was 17 years old. He was well known as an anti-Vietnamese Communist activist outside Vietnam and very well known among oversea Vietnamese communities especially in California, U.S.A… Here is one of his song, “Một Chút Quà Cho Quê Hương – Việt Dzũng“, which was written back 1980’s, youtube.com/embed/DI0JBNJcpC8.
Another popular Vietnamese American just passed away; that’s a Vietnamese American newspaper (Tin Việt News) reporter Cao Son who was born on 1945 and passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in San Jose, California, U.S.A. He came to U.S. under H.O. (Humanitarian Operation) Program which allowed South Vietnam former government personnel who was forced to serve at least 5 years in the Vietnam Communist Reeducation Camps to immigrate to the US.
